Periodically we publish thoughts and ideas about he state of the web and the state of structured data publishing. Topics range from small business marketing to cost efficient advertising.

How to choose the best snack? WebKite has you covered!

What you see up above is a portion of the WebKite snack wall. It’s the fuel that powers WebKite; it’s the wind keeping our kite afloat. But sometimes you’re so hungry that making a decision is crippling. To prevent that from happening we went ahead and used WebKite technology to create a Snack Kite! With a few clicks WebKite employees are now able to find the perfect snack for any occasion.

What’s great is that this Kite was put together by our Office Manager, Jenn Scott, in only a few hours. And that’s the fun thing about WebKite, we power sites that help people make decisions about vehicles and video games, but also snacks. Because there’s no such thing as an unimportant decision, right?

We’ve been having some fun with this Snack Kite around the office. From rating items to leaving behind reviews about how important a certain kind of pretzels are to me. And who doesn’t want  a list of snacks that require fine motor skills? If you’re interested in helping our list even better, don’t hesitate to jump into the Snack Kite and review some of the items. That way if you ever come by to visit we know exactly what to have in stock.

Inventory-based advertising is a better way to advertise

Since we're generating specific ads based on a business' inventory, ads are only shown to customers that are ready to buy those products.

This mitigates waste and ensures that you only get clicks that have a better chance of leading to a sale. Inventory-based ads help you skip past the bartering and get right to the sale. Meaning you can spend less time maintaining ads and more time taking care of your business.
